Release Notes: June 29, 2025

New features included in this release:

Gantt chart schedule management

Inside each project, users will notice a new option on the left side navigation bar titled "Schedules". ProjectTeam.com now includes full Gantt chart schedule management features.

The Gantt chart tool within ProjectTeam.com allows users to:

  • Import data from MS Project, Primavera P6, and MS Excel
  • Track tasks data such as dates, % complete, and resource notes
  • Link tasks using predecessors and specify lead and/or lag time
  • Define baselines for comparison views
  • Show critical path items within the timeline view

The ability to create schedules within the system is limited to Subscribers (users that have a paid account). Contributors (users that have a free account) can view schedules but are not able to create their own schedules. For more information on our new schedule tools, visit the following help links:

Drawing revision comparison

ProjectTeam.com includes a built-in drawing revision comparison feature that makes it easy to identify changes between two versions of a drawing.

When comparing revisions, one version is displayed in blue and the other in red, while any overlapping lines appear in black.

This color-coded overlay clearly highlights what has been added, removed, or modified between versions, helping teams quickly assess updates without manually reviewing each detail. This functionality supports more efficient coordination and reduces the risk of missing critical changes during the review process. Obsolete attachment tracking and search ability

In the Attachments panel of every form, users will now see a search bar that allows them to quickly search through all attachments related to that form.

Additionally, a new "Show obsolete attachments" checkbox has been added, making it easier to locate and view attachments that have been previously marked as obsolete.

Follow form logs to receive new share email notifications per form type

Users can now Follow any form type (log view) in ProjectTeam.com to receive email notifications whenever a new record of that type is created and shared with them. This feature allows users to stay informed about specific types of activity—such as RFIs, Submittals, or Change Orders—without receiving notifications for every form on the project. By following only the form types that matter most, users can streamline their inbox and stay focused on relevant project updates. For more information on the "Follow" form logs feature, click here.

Export data from collections

ProjectTeam.com allows users to export data from collections within any form. This feature lets you download table-style information—such as line items, costs, or schedule activities—into a structured file for offline analysis, sharing, or archiving. Exports are available in common formats like Excel (.xlsx), making it easy to work with the data outside of the system while preserving the original structure and values from your project records.

The export option is only available in the "View" mode of each form. Export is not available in the "Edit" mode of each form.
