Redirect Emails to your project (from Outlook)
Set up a redirect rule for copying your emails from Outlook Web Access and Exchange 2007, 2010 and 2013 to ProjectTeam.com.
Finding your ProjectTeam Project Email Address
1. Each project in ProjectTeam.com has its own unique email address. You can find the email address on the Project Details page.
2. On the Project Details page, you'll notice a funny looking email address - this is your forwarding alias. Copy it to your clipboard and head over to Outlook Exchange.
Outlook 2007 & 2010
1. For Outlook 2010, click the Rules button and then select Manage Rules & Alerts. For Outlook 2007, select Tools and then Rules and Alerts.
2. In the pop-up windows:
-
Click the New Rule button
-
Select Apply rule on messages I receive
-
Click Next
In the next pop-up window:
-
Decide which scenario you want to use to forward your emails (from specific people, includes specific words, etc.)
-
In the next window, click the "Forward it to people or public group"
-
Add the project email address in the To field
-
Make sure to click Finish.
Test it out
Now that the email redirect rule has been set up, you should be able to test it out. Send an email to yourself that matches the rules created, then check your ProjectTeam.com email log.
You may need to give it a couple of minutes, but new emails should soon populate your log.
