This article gives a more in depth look at the differences between Subscribers vs. Contributors.
- Add users to a Project Directory
- Contributors can create a Project Directory, but they cannot invite anyone to the Project.
- Only the Contributors can see who they have added to their Project Directory.
- Share Groups
- As a Subscriber, you can share to any share group listed on your project.
- Contributors can only share to share groups if there is a subscribed user in it. That user also has to be from the Business the the contributor Business is directly connected to.
- Contributors cannot share to a share group that is occupied by all external contributors.
- Sharing
- Subscribers can use the share to all feature in ProjectTeam while Contributors cannot.
- Share all will allow you to share with all users and or share groups, that are currently on the project.
- View forms "as of"
- Unlike Subscribers, Contributors do not have the ability to view forms/documents "as of" a previous date and/or time.
- Subscribers can click into a form, and choose the option to view the form "as of" a previous day or a previous time on the same day.
- Action Items
- Subscribers have the ability to assign action items to anyone on the project that already has access to the related form.
- Contributors can only assign action items to users from their Business and from the Business that invited them to the project.
- Contributors cannot assign Action Items to users from other Contributor Businesses.
