Export a Worksheet

Learn how to export your ProjectTeam.com Worksheet data to Excel for offline review and analysis. Understand what to expect during export and how to verify your data after downloading.

Overview

ProjectTeam.com makes it easy to extract and use Worksheet information outside the platform through its Export feature. This tool allows users to download Worksheet data into an Excel file, enabling further analysis, reporting, or data sharing as needed.

Exporting is straightforward; simply open the worksheet and select the Export option. The system generates an Excel file containing all records and visible columns from the worksheet. This is especially useful when users want to manipulate data using Excel functions, combine Worksheet data with other sources, or maintain offline copies for reference.

By providing a quick way to move data out of ProjectTeam.com, the Export feature gives users flexibility, supports external reporting requirements, and ensures project teams can work with their information in whatever format best meets their needs.

Exporting data from a Worksheet

  1. From within a project, click Worksheets on the left-hand navigation pane.
  2. Navigate to the existing worksheet, click the "..."button and choose the Export(XLSX) option...

... or if you have the Worksheet open in fullscreen mode, select the Worksheets Options button, and choose the Export (XLSX) option.

  3. The excel spreadsheet information will be exported to your machine. Depending on your browser settings, most will be able to find the file in your computer's "Downloads" folder.

Note: ProjectTeam.com Worksheets and Excel do not have identical functionality, so some data may be lost in translation when exporting. For example, certain formulas may behave differently between the two systems. Always review the downloaded file to ensure all values and calculations are accurate.
