Create a Worksheet
Learn how to create a Worksheet in ProjectTeam.com, including setup steps, sharing options, and tips for organizing project data using custom columns, formulas, and integrated collaboration tools.
Overview
The ProjectTeam Worksheet tool provides a powerful, spreadsheet-style workspace for organizing and calculating project data directly within your ProjectTeam project. Worksheets support custom columns, formulas, and automated calculations, allowing teams to build anything from simple lists to detailed cost tables without relying on external files.
Because Worksheets are fully integrated with ProjectTeam, they inherit project-level permissions and can be linked to forms or referenced throughout the system. This ensures your project data stays centralized, consistent, and accessible to the right people.
Worksheets can be shared with team members so everyone is working from the same source of truth. While shared access keeps information aligned across your project, Worksheets are not live-edited in real time. Only one user can make updates at a time, and others will see changes after refreshing or reopening the Worksheet. This prevents conflicting edits and maintains the integrity of your data.
Overall, the Worksheet tool gives you a flexible and secure way to manage project information, perform calculations, and collaborate with your team, all within the ProjectTeam environment.

Forms Basics and Related Panels
A Worksheet functions much like any other form type in ProjectTeam.com, giving users access to the familiar panels that support collaboration and control. Each Worksheet includes panels for sharing, workflows, attachments, action items, comments, and reference links.
These panels make it easy to route a Worksheet through review, attach supporting documents, track follow-up tasks, communicate with team members, and connect the Worksheet to other relevant project records.
This consistent structure ensures that Worksheets fit naturally into your existing project processes and offer the same robust collaboration tools as all other forms in ProjectTeam.
