Company Administrator vs. Project Administrator

Before setting up your users in ProjectTeam.com, it's important to decide who from your company will be given administrative access.

An administrator in ProjectTeam.com has additional rights to perform administrative tasks compared to standard users. There are two types of Administrators within ProjectTeam.com:

Users from your company can be both a Company Administrator and a Project Administrator. There is no limit to the number of administrators your company can have.

Company Administrator

A Company Administrator has complete oversight and control of your company and your projects. Company administrators are the highest level administrator in ProjectTeam.com and can perform tasks such as setting up company standards, adding new users, deactivating users, and more.

Project Administrator

A Project Administrator can configure administrative tasks within a specific project but can not mess with anything set up at the company level by a Company Administrator. For example, a Project Administrator can configure basic project information, add custom fields to project-level forms, and add users to share groups within the project but cannot change a company standard report.
